Artists and creators who upload content to VYNL retain full ownership of their original works. Uploading to VYNL does not transfer any ownership rights to us.

By uploading, you grant VYNL a limited, non-exclusive license to display, distribute, and promote your content within the platform and in marketing materials.

VYNL complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe your copyrighted work has been infringed on our platform, you may submit a DMCA takedown notice.

We take all claims seriously and will respond promptly to valid notices.

To file a DMCA takedown notice, send an email to dmca@vynl.fm with the following information:

• Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed
• URL or location of the allegedly infringing material on VYNL
• Your contact information (name, address, email, phone)
• A statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorized
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner
• Your physical or electronic signature

If you believe your content was removed in error or you have authorization to use the material, you may file a counter-notification.

Counter-notifications must include:

• Identification of the removed material and its previous location
• A statement under penalty of perjury that removal was a mistake
• Your name, address, and phone number
• Consent to federal court jurisdiction
• Your signature

VYNL maintains a policy of terminating accounts of users who repeatedly infringe on copyrights. We track DMCA notices and may suspend or permanently remove accounts with multiple valid claims against them.

We actively work to protect artists on our platform:

• Content is delivered through secure, access-controlled methods
• We do not allow scraping or automated downloading
• Artists can report suspected piracy directly through their dashboard
• We cooperate with artists to address infringement concerns

Artists are responsible for obtaining all necessary clearances, licenses, and permissions for samples, covers, remixes, or any third-party content included in their work.

VYNL does not review content for sample clearance. Artists warrant that they have the rights to all material they upload.
